sb: Thank You VERY much for this exclusive interview. Please tell us a little about Your background. Where are You originally from?

SS: I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA in a little farming town called Galt. Everyone either had a crop or a cow I like to say, but yet there was this very vibrant, artistic set of young kids that lived there that I belonged to that transcended their parents' more conservative values. When I was 18 I moved by myself to San Francisco and lived there until I was 23 and that is where I truly consider home. When people ask me where I am from I always say the city by the bay!

sb: How Were You introduced to The Scene?

SS: I was married at 16 (believe it or not) and my then husband was 19 and we were both interested in BDSM and played around with it. He was bisexual and enjoyed slut training and degredation and humiliation, GS, face slapping, and subservience. I have always been attracted to corsets, whips (particularly singletails/bullwhips & riding crops), canes and high leather boots. I started learning how to use a bullwhip when I was 18 and decided then I wanted to be a Pro-Domme and live a D/s lifestyle. When I moved to San Francisco I started frequenting the clubs like Power Enchange & Bondage A Go-Go and playing with more subservient characters and practicing my art. I have always chose naturally submissive men to serve me and have always made the decisions in the relationships I have been in and wore the "pants" if you will.

sb: How do you feel, about some clients who tell you what they want you to wear, before a session? Does it offend you, or, do you comply?

SS: What I always tell them is that if they have a wardrobe request I will happily wear whatever they bring to me as an offering of their gratitude to me. That way we are both getting what we want, his fetish is being fulfilled and I am adding to my wardrobe collection so I am not offended at all. If I have clothing that already suits what he is requesting then I will wear it, I do feel that both parties should have fun in session and if I own something I know I already like it so I have no problem in wearing it.

sb: Where did You start Professionally?

SS: I started as a submissive at The Dominion working for Lady Hillary. The house was beautiful, the women who worked there were all wonderful. I have a lot of positive things to say about The Dominion. But I was not submissive and while I appreciated the chance to learn by feeling and experiencing what the implements felt like and how it felt as the bottom, it just was not me. Ultimately when I discussed switching there they would not let me do it so I moved on to The Den of Iniquity where I again learned much about this business.

sb: I know you went independent last year. How does it compare to being a house Mistress?

SS: While I enjoyed the opportunity to learn at the houses, I am much to independent to be at them. I like handling and controlling everything that has to do with me including managing my marketing and my public image, how I handle clients and what I will do. I like walking my own clients in and out and having pre-session consultations where we thoroughly discuss the scene and that is not always an option at some houses. I really enjoy being an independent Mistress.

sb: Did You train under someone?

SS: Not directly, no. I learned by experiencing as a bottom from other Dominants and from going to classes at lifestyle non-profit organizations like Threshold in LA. Most of my friends are actually male lifestyle Dominants with female slaves and I learned primarily from them. I also have learned flogging from Mistress Tara Indiana and from reading books and just hanging out at the parties and from scene friends. It is a constant process...I am always learning.

sb: Please describe Your style of Domination?

SS: I am a naturally Dominant woman so I demand respect in session. The respect is also given and while I am strict, I also have a certain warmth that puts people at ease. I am able to capture subs' trust and push them in a scene. I think there is a certain motherly quality about me. My regulars are naturally submissive men mostly who desire to please me. I have an air of Dominance yet I am approachable and friendly. I am sadistic as well and I love, love, LOVE causing pain. Especially in a cathartic way that gets you to open up your soul. I am always myself.

sb: What is Your favorite type of scene?

SS: I really love corporal sessions. I am a sadist by nature and believe that pain can be freeing and cathartic. I also have a CMT license so I have had Anatomical training and I have an understanding of how the body works and what to look for when the body is undergoing stress. My favorite type of scene is when someone has a break through from this roleplaying and punishment. I incorporate a lot of psychology into my scenes and I bring out a lot of aspects of deeper darker selves that other Mistresses might not have cared to delve into. I want to see that secret side.

sb: Please tell me the most intense scene You ever did?

SS: It was a scene with a guy that requested humiliation/sissification. When I walked in however a few things triggered my radar : First, his body posture was slumped and his facial expression was EXTREMELY sad and fearful (even though he was a house regular). Second, the way he was dressed...he looked like a little boy almost and was very submissive by nature. I ordered him to remove his clothing and underneath he was wearing womens cotton panties...not at all fetishy!

So I asked him about it and he told me that his mother had always wanted a girl child instead of a boy so she made him wear girls underclothing and called him "her little girl". His father was also very submissive to his very demanding and controlling mother and she used to beat him with a strap. He knew I was known as the Corporal Queen and begged me not to hurt him. I wanted to go to that place inside of him where his mother had hurt him in order to try to do some positive healing so I laid him across a spanking horse and while repeating his name over and over said all the things his mother had said to him his entire life about being a girl, not being good enough, etc. while hitting him with a strap.

He broke down crying and started yelling why did'nt I love him, he just wanted to make me happy, and that he just wanted me to love him. Now, I know he just met ME, so it was his mother he was talking to. I cradled him in my arms and told him that mommy loved him very much and he made mommy very happy while I dried his tears and hugged him. It was very intense and he told me I was very intuitive and nobody ever saw that in him before. After that one session I saw him multiple times after that and he always begged me to see him outside of session.

sb: Do you believe that BDSM is a mental therapy for some people?

SS: YES! I believe that a lot of what turns us on sexually can be traced to deep inner feelings of worthiness, guilt, repression and our childhoods. For some, it can be incredibly freeing to be able to express these needs and desires without being judged.

sb: Your legs and feet are absolutely exquisite. Do You enjoy foot worship?

SS: Why thank you I adore foot/leg/ass/body worship actually. The sight of a nude, vulnerable man on his hands and knees licking my stilettos clean while I grab onto his hair makes me feel powerful and invincible. I appreciate and love the psychological aspect of D/s so foot worship to me not only feels good, but is symbolic. sb: Do You like heavy corporal?

SS: Of course! What Mistress doesn't? They don't call me The Corporal Queen for nothing baby! It is by far my favorite play.

sb: Do You offer cyber training?

sb: What kind of slaves do You like the most and least?

SS: I like truly submissive slaves who have absolute trust and faith in me and will sacrifice their needs in order to meet mine. Women do it all the time. How many times has the new wife had to give up her career so her husband can pursue his? When a slave performs a selfless act (whether it be pushing past pain thresholds or going without something material for me) I look upon that with great affection and deep gratitude. The slaves I like the least are the "submissives for an hour" type : they come in, are rude to me out of session, have all kinds of demands or catch attitude, and then in session try to top from the bottom or ask for a "job" i.e. handjob/footjob/blowjob or try to get me to take my clothes off. I also hate grabby slaves...guys that try to touch me inappropriately and make me touch them. I have had this happen! Ridiculous!

sb: What is Your favorite type of clothing?

SS: OOOH.... Corsets of course but I also am a heavy latex/rubber fetishist and I like leather a lot too. My perfect outfit is a Dark garden leather corset with opera lenth black leather gloves and stockings and black stiletto leather thigh high boots! I also want a mint green rubber nurses uniform, a nazi/military uniform and lots of latex!!

sb: What is the greatest thrill You get from Domination?

SS: Knowing that someone is trusting me enough to hurt them in unimaginable ways. We take a lot of risks in this world, and for someone who has never met me to allow me to tie him down, stick needles through his body, kick him in the balls and sit on his face there is a lot of trust he must have in me. First, he has to trust that I know what I am doing from a medical perspective which I feel maybe more people should think about. I could pierce him in the wrong place, with the wrong type or a dirty needle, not sterilize properly etc. or I could accidentally beat him in the wrong location and cause serious internal organ damage. Thats where it's our responsibility as Dominas to be educated about safety.

sb: What are Your favorite types of gifts?

SS: I like Corsets, canes, whips, latex/rubber leather...the list goes on. I also love trips and shopping sprees too where the slave goes with me and I get to try on clothing and model and tease him with my beautiful body. I also have a certain penchant for haute couture. I really want an Hermes whip! Yes, they do make them! I visited the Hermes store and fell in love. Chocolate and shoes are also always nice.

sb: What is a really kinky scene that You haven't done yet that You would like to do with a slave?

SS: An realistic interrogation scene with real  torture. I  desire to steal someone away at gunpoint from a location  ( in disguise of course) and using such methods as chloroform, needles under the nails, sleeps deprivation, water torture, and endless interrogation see how far I can push him. I find that to be challenging. Also there would be no safewords and rules.... just like in a real scene. I also would like to pimp a slave out to make me money. I just think that would be hot.

sb: Do You also work with Women and couples?

SS: Would love to! I am open to women, transgendered, and couples - gay or straight. Being bisexual I am very LGBT friendly. I love doing more sensual scenes with submissive pretty girls and would love to teach a woman how to top her husband/boyfriend.
